2026 JULY KILI TO COAST

At Quealy & Co, supporting our community and the causes that matter to the people within it has always been incredibly important to us.

That is why we are delighted to be sponsoring the final day of Naomi’s Kili to Coast challenge, an extraordinary 450km cycling adventure raising money for Women v Cancer, CALM and Taylor Made Dreams.

A 450km Challenge from Kilimanjaro to the Indian Ocean

Those who know Naomi will know that cycling has not traditionally been her activity of choice. However, that is all about to change.

Later this year, she will join the Women v Cancer cycle challenge, travelling approximately 450km over five days from the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro to Tanzania’s Indian Ocean coast.

The route will take riders through remote villages, over mountain passes and along rural roads, dirt tracks and coastal trails. There may be a few welcome flatter plains along the way, but with hill climbs and challenging terrain forming a significant part of the journey, Naomi has plenty of training ahead of her.

The event is described as suitable for women with good cycling fitness. As Naomi herself admits, it looks as though she has some work to do before reaching the starting line!

Supporting Three Incredible Charities

Naomi originally signed up to raise money for Women v Cancer. Recognising an opportunity to make an even greater difference, she has since increased her fundraising target and chosen to support two additional charities whose work has become particularly meaningful to her.

CALM

The Campaign Against Living Miserably, better known as CALM, is a suicide prevention charity working to provide vital support, challenge harmful stereotypes and help people stay connected when they are struggling.

Naomi will be raising money for CALM in memory of her nephew, Alexander Quealy.

This is a cause that is particularly close to our hearts at Quealy & Co. Suicide affects families, friendships and entire communities, often in ways that are difficult to put into words. By supporting CALM, Naomi hopes to help the charity continue its lifesaving work and ensure more people know that support is available. Find out more about CALM here: calmzone.net

Taylor Made Dreams

Naomi will also be supporting Taylor Made Dreams, a charity helping children with life-limiting illnesses to fulfil their dreams and create precious memories with their families.

She was introduced to the charity by a client who tragically lost their son, Josh, when he was just ten years old. The family began a campaign called Journey for Josh, which later connected with Taylor Made Dreams and its remarkable work.

The charity helps families make the most of the precious time they have together, providing both practical and emotional support alongside memorable experiences. Find out more about Taylor Made Dreams here: taylormadedreams.org.uk

Women v Cancer

The Kili to Coast challenge will also raise funds for Women v Cancer, bringing women together to undertake extraordinary challenges while supporting vital cancer research, awareness and care.

Cancer touches the lives of far too many families. Every mile Naomi cycles will help support work intended to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support. Find out more about Women v Cancer here: Womenvcancer Instagam

How You Can Support Naomi

These three charities all carry out incredible work. Sadly, the causes they represent have come closer to home than anyone would ever wish, making Naomi’s challenge deeply personal as well as physically demanding.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help these organisations continue supporting individuals and families when they need it most. It will also give Naomi some much-needed encouragement to keep pedalling when the hills, heat and tired legs begin to take their toll.

Visit Naomi’s Kili to Coast fundraising page and make a donation.

Proudly Sponsoring the Final Day

After five demanding days in the saddle, Naomi’s final stretch will take her towards the Indian Ocean coast and Quealy & Co is incredibly proud to sponsor this last day of the challenge.

It will be the culmination of months of training, hundreds of kilometres of cycling and, undoubtedly, a great deal of determination.

From everyone at Quealy & Co, we are incredibly proud to support you, Naomi. Good luck and keep pedalling!

Follow Naomi’s Journey

Naomi’s Kili to Coast challenge will take place in October. We will be sharing updates from her training, fundraising and the challenge itself across the Quealy & Co Facebook and Instagram pages.

Follow us to cheer Naomi on as she prepares to swap familiar Kent roads for the foothills of Kilimanjaro, mountain tracks and the long road to the Tanzanian coast.
