With the cost of living increasing, more and more people in our local community in Kent are relying on the local foodbank. Due to this high demand, foodbank stock levels are extremely low.
The Quealy & Co team wanted to use our central office location in Sittingbourne to help collect foodbank items during July. We received such an amazing amount of donations in 2020 we decided to continue to be a drop off centre for the Swale Foodbank this summer, to make it easier for people to drop off donations in the Kent town.
Next time you are shopping in the town centre perhaps you could kindly add a few extras to your shopping trolley and simply pop them into our office – 2 Park Road, Sittingbourne ME10 1DR.
What does the Foodbank need?
The Swale Foodbank is incredibly grateful for any donations, but they are particularly in need of the following items:
- Shower gels
- Shaving foam
- Washing up liquid
- Laundry detergent
- Toilet rolls
- Nappies (size 5,6 and 7)
- Wet wipes
- Long life milk
- Tinned meats
- Tinned fruit
- Tinned vegetables
Our local Swale foodbank relies on our goodwill and support so please donate whatever you can manage. The whole team at Quealy & Co would like to thank you for your continued support.
Collection points locally are Quealy & Co, Sainsburys, Asda, Co-Op Murston, Northwood Drive and Teynham, Rodmersham coffee shop.
